Visited the Tower of David today, with incredible 360 degree views of Jerusalem. It is really amazing that in a 1 km square area (if you believe the sages), Abraham bound Isaac for sacrifice, Jesus was crucified and resurrected and Mohammed ascended to heaven on his winged horse!! Heck of a lotta action for such a small country. No wonder no one can agree on anything!
We also had the opportunity to visit a friend of a friend who lives in an apartment in the Old City. Very interesting to see an actual living space in a 900 year old building.
